Angus Havers

Film and Television Composer

Angus Havers is a classically trained, award-winning composer based in Shepherd’s Bush, West London.
Combining tradition and innovation, he’s equally comfortable scoring symphonies for large orchestras or producing pop on Logic Pro.

His musical education began at St. Paul’s Cathedral Choir School where he became head chorister and performed to Queen Elizabeth II, before continuing at Stowe School as a music scholar excelling in piano and cello. He went on to study a Masters in Composing at the prestigious National Film and Television School, where his graduation film Brand Spanking received a Royal Television Society award.

Since then, his work has featured in commercials for some of the biggest brands in the world including Toyota and Nestle. Along the way, he has composed music for feature films such as Fly Fishing, which won Best Score at the California Independent Film Festival, and worked on top tv series like Linda La Plante’s Trial and Retribution.

Angus has also composed and arranged for a number of diverse performers, helping them turn from singers into artists. In 2020, he co-wrote “Strangers” with Leah Weller. The song was produced by Ocean Colour Scene’s Steve Cradock, recorded at Paul Weller’s Black Barn Studio and played on BBC Radio 6 Music.
